Payal Kapoor is a highly experienced senior finance expert with over 25 years of success in building strong finance teams, driving financial and operational turnarounds, and providing CFO advisory services. She is passionate about creating measurable social impact across various sectors.

Currently, Payal serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Anchor Excellence, where she leads the finance advisory services. These services include financial performance assessments, interim financial management, revenue optimisation, and CFO coaching.

Previously, Payal excelled as the Chief Financial Officer at Southern Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). She significantly improved the finance function’s service capability and fostered a strong business partnership approach. Payal also managed large legacy issues and ensured efficient use of taxpayer funds during challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier in her career, Payal spent over a decade at KPMG, specializing in health, financial services, and construction/infrastructure sectors. She provided financial turnaround, interim management, complex structuring, and management consulting services.

Payal’s career began at Morgan Stanley India, where she transitioned from Chief of Staff to Investment Manager, successfully managing large corporate portfolios.
