The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety highlighted a critical need for trauma-informed care within the sector, recommending that all aged care workers receive training in this vital approach. Trauma, encompassing experiences like abuse, illness, or even transitioning into aged care, is unfortunately common and can have long lasting impacts on individuals.

Our online education session empowers aged care workers with the knowledge and skills to provide truly person-centered care through a trauma-informed lens. Participants will learn to recognise signs of trauma, understand its profound effects, and implement practical strategies for creating a safe and supportive environment.
