We are delighted to announce that we have formed a strategic partnership with Australia’s leading healthcare education organisation Ausmed.
Anchor Excellence launched AnchorPolicy acknowledging the need for robust policies and processes that could be tailored to aged care providers’ requirements. The AnchorPolicy suite now comprises policies, processes, tools, templates and manuals that guide and support best practices across all areas of aged care. These include; board manuals, clinical governance manuals, end of life, SIRS and restrictive practices, handover, feedback management, cultural safety and many more.
The new alliance offers Ausmed customers additional support and the ability to access the AnchorPolicy suite, ensuring their learning experiences are reinforced through best practice and up-to-date documentation aligned to the ACQS.
The strategic partnership will enable both organisations to widen and deepen services to customers.
Cynthia Payne, Founder and Managing Director at Anchor, commented, “The coming together of Anchor and Ausmed is a real meeting of the minds. We are two leading organisations with a common focus – to improve the lived experience for older Australians in a care setting.
To do this, it’s fundamental to increase capability in the sector and the skills needed to deliver the required care and support. We have worked with over 35% of aged care providers nationally and understand the challenges and what it takes to succeed.”
Will Egan, Chief Executive at Ausmed, commented, “Ausmed and Anchor share many common values and have a common purpose; to improve resident care. Our strategic partnership brings together the best of software, education, policies and service to enable organisations to enhance the experience of older Australians receiving care.
Ausmed has been active in the Australian healthcare sector for over 30 years, with an estimated 1 in 5 healthcare professionals using Ausmed every month. This partnership is another way we aim to support aged care providers in moving beyond ‘tick-a-box’ compliance and towards continuous improvement.”
