Cynthia Payne, Grant Cordaroy from StewartBrown and Brian Wong from CBA provided an update on the aged care landscape, financial viability, and the bank’s view on lending. Each presenter offered vital and relevant information pertinent to aged care providers that are reviewing their business strategies and development or refurbishment pipeline. 

The morning also consisted of a lively and insightful panel discussion between Cynthia Payne, Natasha Chadwick from NewDirection Care, Judy Martin from The Global Ageing Network and Sage Tours, and James Heek from Bupa AU. The panel dove into the different models and trends – from small micro towns to large-scale communities, global innovations and how there is a need for a range of models to suit and cater for consumers.
